Hi! I am Isabelle, a 27 yrs old Singaporean that has been doing over 5 years on and off freelance. My background initially started with Graphic Design – Graduated from Lasalle in 2020 with a Diploma in Design Communication
First Paid Portrait
In my first 9-5 job as an in-house creative, I did my first portrait shoot, self-taught. Started to find a liking to shoots then.
This was also my first time handling a DSLR professionally. A joke but this was once my proudest portriature. [Remebering Your Roots]
I choose hard
Then in 2022, I was introuduced to the hardest road in life – Becoming a business owner. (at least tried to) I decided to start my own clothing line – Raw Cycling Appare in the sport that brought me joy but that eventually failed.
Which did not take off but had me exposed to a heaps of learning curves as a first-time business owner. This was also when I've decided that I want to start my own business even if I failed
More Hardships
While I was doing RAW I was also in a partnership with my ex who was doing bicycle mechanical works as well and while business was doing well and we had big plans, it all came crashing as values to my then partner drastically differs from my ideology – How you do anything is how you do everything. This was my life's biggest lesson that I am glad had ended. But I still had a passion for the sport so even though our partnership came to an end, I ventured into another cycling business.
Where I am now
Comes to where I've truly started learning and honing my skillsets–Met a business mentor who shared the same values and worldly ideology as I do – Trust, Integrity & Respect.
For the first time, I was proud to be given the opportunity to learn and grow under a strong leader. Boring Clubhouse happened and I've since been doing content creation and curation … till date.
